Nakkehoved East- and West Lighthouse and Lighthouse Museum
Scenic views, nature, beach and history. Nakkehoved Lighthouse is situated in a beautiful conservation area 30 minutes walk from Gilleleje.
Enjoy the view from the lighthouse tower. Visit the two old lighthouses, and explore the Danish lighthouse history at the small Lighthouse Museum. Built in 1772 the Western Lighthouse is still in use.
Take a walk in the surrounding area, and see the steep slopes leading down to the beach. Bring your lunch – there are benches outside the Lighthouse.
Please take note: The view is beautiful – but remember to show caution and responsibility when walking along the steep slopes. Using the areas around the Lighthouses is at your own risk.
