Museum Norsjælland – North Zealand’s regional museum
Museum Nordsjælland is an archaeological and modern history museum. We collect, research and tell the story of North Zealand. From ancient times to the present.
Our geographical areas of responsibilities are Allerød, Fredensborg, Gribskov, Hillerød and Hørsholm municipalities. We also have archaeological responsibility in Furesø, Halsnæs, Helsingør and Rudersdal municipalities.
The museum is lead by a board of ten members and the director, Jesper van Dam Laugesen. We are among the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces’ state approved museums.
