Æbelholt Abby Medieval Fair
In the middle ages, a two-week market was held at Æbelholt Abby each year to celebrate Saint Vilhelm, a previous abbot. Pilgrims came to the Abby – the sick to be healed, merchants and farmers to sell their goods. Today we still celebrate this tradition. Visitors can go back in time and experience Denmark in the middle ages.
